Special note about this Q-see QC8116-3 NVR:

Please note this is a NVR for 1080p, 3MP, 5MP and 720p cameras (not analog security cameras). Also please note the fan on this NVR is louder than a typical 16 camera analog DVR in order to cool down the hard drives. It is recommended this NVR is placed in an indoor location where the fan noise is not an issue.
